Telcos urged to reduce call rates

DATUK Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek has urged all mobile phone operators to reduce their mobile call rate that now stands at 3.3 sen a minute.

“Tax is something they (consumers) have to pay but the players can help by lowering the rates, though this is still a proposal at this stage,’’ he says.
