Ongkili: Plan for TNB to have a bigger stake in the coal-fired power plant


SUBANG JAYA: The decision on Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) taking over 1Malaysia Development Bhd’s (1MDB) 2,000MW coal-fired power plant project, coded Tract 3B, has yet to be finalised, as discussions are still ongoing, according to the Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry (KeTTHA).

KeTTHA stressed that TNB had always been listed as an equity partner for the power plant project in Jimah, Negri Sembilan.
