DiGi Q1 profit takes a dip

PETALING JAYA: Telecommunications firm DiGi.Com Bhd saw a marginal decrease in net profit to RM479.22mil in the first quarter ending March 31, on lower margins stemming from higher device sales.

Revenue for the period was 4.3% higher at RM1.791bil compared with the same quarter in the previous year, supported by strong demand for smartphone bundles from both postpaid and prepaid sales.
