KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s ringgit advanced for a fourth week, the longest rally since July, as oil prices rose and on speculation the United States will delay interest-rate increases that could trigger outflows from emerging markets.
Brent crude was poised its biggest five-day gain since 2009, easing concerns about a drop in revenue for the oil- exporting nation.
