PETALING JAYA: Proton Holdings Bhd, the holding company of Lotus Group, has entered into a joint venture (JV) agreement with UK-based Lotus Group International Ltd (Lotus Group) and Goldstar Heavy Industrial Co Ltd (Goldstar) to possibly expand the Lotus car business in China.
Proton chief executive officer Datuk Harith Abdullah said the partnerhip would speed up the development of the brand in the premium sports segment in that region.
