KLCI shoots past 1,850 as MISC, Tenaga advance


KUALA  LUMPUR: Malaysia’s stock market climbed in early Tuesday trade, as investor sentiment was bolstered by the firm overnight close on Wall Street and strong performance of Asian stocks.

At 9.29am, the FBM KLCI was up 12.18 points or 0.66% to 1,855.12. Turnover was 329.07 million shares valued at RM170.92mil. There were 205 gainers, 105 losers and 210 counters unchanged.
