KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara has appointed Datuk Wan Azhar Wan Ahmad as chairman of the Small Debt Resolution Committee as well as new members for the committee effective from March 1, 2015.
The central bank said in a press release yesterday that the small debt resolution scheme provided assistance to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that were undergoing financial difficulties impacting their financing repayment obligations.
