Land lease deal to facilitate Selangor water asset revamp

PETALING JAYA: The Federal Government and Selangor state government are looking at a long-term land lease agreement to facilitate the restructuring of water assets in the state.

According to sources, a land lease agreement is necessary because some of the water assets are located in the Federal Territory but will be managed by Selangor under the restructuring.
