DiGi appoints Murty as new CEO

SHAH ALAM: DiGi.Com Bhd, the country’s third largest telecommunications company by market share, has appointed Albern Murty (pic) to helm the company effective April 1.

Murty, who is currently chief operating officer, will replace chief executive officer Lars-Åke Norling, who will be appointed as the chief executive officer of dtac (Total Access Communication PCL) - a Telenor Group’s business unit in Thailand.
