Moody’s affirms Malaysia’s bonds and issuer rating at A3


PETALING JAYA: Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed Malaysia’s bond and issuer rating at A3 with a positive outlook, driven by the fiscal reforms and the strength of Malaysia’s fundamental credit strengths.

Moody’s said the Government’s intention to adhere to its policy of deficit reduction, driven by fiscal reforms, has bolstered Malaysia’s resilience to cyclical commodity price shocks.
