WASHINGTON: The operating unit of Caesars Entertainment Corp, the largest US casino company, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy to implement its plan to cut US$10bil of debt.
The company said it had the support of its senior noteholders to implement the plan, which would reduce the operating unit’s debt to US$8.6bil from US$18.4bil.
