KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI extended its gains and closed Friday nearly 15 points up, hitting a two-week high since Dec 10 backed by gains in Public Bank and Maybank, in line with the positive regional markets.
At 5pm, the KLCI closed up 14.70 points to 1,764.44. There were 846.48 million shares valued at RM870.11mil.
