KUALA LUMPUR: After four consecutive days of trading added 70 points to the index, the local bourse is still eking out a gain, albeit at a slower pace, climbing another 6.46 points at the break.
Similarly, in the regional markets, sentiment remained upbeat ahead of Yuletide, with Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index being one of the few notable exceptions, dipping into negative territory when it fell 0.66%, or 20.58 points, to 3,106.87.
