PNB appoints Idris Kechot as COO


KUALA LUMPUR: Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) has appointed Datuk Idris Kechot as its deputy president and group chief operating officer effective December 2014. 

In a statement on Monday, the group said Idris will be overseeing the Asset Management Department which covers both PNB’s domestic and international investments. 

Previously,  Idris was the executive director of Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), a wholly owned subsidiary of PNB.

Meanwhile, Datuk Wan Roshdi Wan Musa has been appointed as PNB’s chief risk officer. 

Wan Roshdi was PNB’s chief investment officer and has served the company for more than 30 years. 

"Meanwhile, the vacant position of ASNB’s executive director will be filled by Mohammad Hussin. Prior to the appointment, Mohammad was ASNB’s senior vice president, marketing and branch operations department," it said.
