DILLON Chong thought signing up to be an Uber driver would be a good idea, giving him the flexibility to choose the hours he wanted to work. After doing it for a month, he decided it was not worth it.
“Twelve hours of work every day would not yield the income one would get working at McDonald’s after factoring in all the costs. You’d be lucky to earn RM2,000 a month,” says Chong.
