Affin Holdings Q3 earnings at nearly RM142m


KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Holdings Bhd reported earnings of RM141.95mil in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2014, down 17.9% from the RM172.96mil a year ago due to lower profit from the banking arm, but the group recorded  better performance from the preceding quarter.

The banking group announced on Monday its revenue increased by 22.6% to RM937.17mil from RM764.09mil. Earnings per share were 7.36 sen compared with 11.57 sen. It declared an interim dividend of 15 sen.
