KUALA LUMPUR: Blue chips edged lower in early Thursday trade weighed by losses in telcos after two days of firm gains while analysts expect the local market to remain sideways due to lack of fresh catalysts.
At 9.15am, the FBM KLCI was down 1.45 points or 0.08% to 1,822.94. Turnover was 160.19 million shares valued at RM57.48mil. There were 116 gainers, 96 losers and 167 counters were unchanged.
