KUALA LUMPUR: Star Publications (M) Bhd’s profit before tax (PBT) for its third quarter ended Sept 30 eased to RM46.7mil against RM55.9mil a year ago, as the double Malaysia Airlines (MAS) tragedies of this year took its toll on the media industry.
The media group saw a dip of 16.5% in PBT and a 22.1% decrease in net profit after minority interest against the corresponding quarter last year.
