KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s blue chips eked out marginal gains in early Tuesday trade, underpinned by gains in Petronas Dagangan and UMW but analysts expect the FBM KLCI to remain on its consolidation phase.
At 9.11am, the KLCI was up 0.13 of a point to 1,806.61. Turnover was 74.93 million shares valued at RM37.55mil. There were 141 gainers, 80 losers and 134 counters unchanged.
