KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s blue chips started Monday on a lacklustre note, weighed down by losses in Tenaga Nasional, Maxis and AmBank in line with the weaker regional markets after Japan slipped into recession.
At 9.02am, the FBM KLCI was down 0.84 of a point or 0.05% to 1,812.95. Turnover was 48.18 million shares valued at RM13.56mil. There were 122 gainers, 52 losers and 95 counters unchanged.
