NCB tries to turn around its bleeding container haulage subsidiary

PORT and logistics operator NCB Holdings Bhd is currently on recovery mode, following a challenging period dealing with bleeding haulage operations that has affected its profitability over the past two years.

The group, which is controlled by Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), is now trying to contain the losses of its haulage operations, Kontena Nasional Bhd, and ramp up the container-handling volume at its seaport terminal under Northport (M) Bhd.
