BANGKOK: Thailand's economy is expected to grow at a slower pace of around 1.4% this year, down from the 2% forecast in July, a senior official from the finance ministry said on Thursday.
The downgrade is due mainly to weaker-than-expected exports, Kritsada Jinavijarana, director-general of the Fiscal Policy Office, told a news conference.
