KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI posted solid gains, powered by local fund buying of Tenaga Nasional and Genting Bhd, on Thursday amid a firmer broader market but key regional markets were mostly lower except Singapore.
At 5pm, the FBM KLCI was up 14.46 points or 0.81% to 1,810.68. Turnover was 1.59 billion shares valued at RM2.01bil. There were 670 gainers, 185 losers and 249 stocks unchanged.
