DiGi Q3 earnings up 8.5% to RM486.92mil (Update)


It announced on Monday its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at RM789mil at a margin of 45%. Revenue rose 3.3% to RM1.756bil from RM1.699bil boosted by continued growth in Internet revenue, which improved 40.3% compared to a year ago.  

Earnings per share were 6.26 sen compared with 5.77 sen.  It declared a third interim tax exempt dividend of 6.2 sen per ordinary share, equivalent to RM482mil or 99.0% payout ratio compared to a year ago, payable on Dec 5, 2014.
