KUALA LUMPUR: Bargain hunting lifted the FBM KLCI nearly eight points early Monday, in line with the firmer key Asian markets, but a technical chartist expressed caution especially after the heavy selldown.
At 9.57am, the KLCI was up 7.62 points or 0.43% to 1,795.93. Turnover was 619.24 million shares valued at RM341.30mil. There were 522 gainers, 90 losers and 184 counters unchanged.
