Nov 6 D-Day for Malaysia Airlines after Govt investment of RM17.4bil

PETALING JAYA: After having invested RM17.4bil in Malaysia Airlines (MAS) since 2001 and without getting the desired results, the Government is going to the shareholders of the airline on Nov 6 to take the company private.

MAS directors and independent adviser AmInvestment Bank have recommended that the minorities accept the offer at the EGM to be convened as they found Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s buyout offer to be “fair” and “reasonable.”
