IMF warning timely as investors face US$3.8tril losses due to excessive risk taking


THE prospect of investors facing a loss of US$3.8 trillion from rising interest rates and geopolitical tensions is a timely warning from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

That amount is just shy of the US$4.05 trillion of projected losses from the global financial crisis, says the Telegraph, quoting IMF estimates.
