Spad aims 40% urban population to use public transport by 2030


KUALA LUMPUR: Land Public Transport Commission (Spad) aims to have 40% of the population in urban areas to use public transportation by 2030 from 20% now.

"Spad's vision is to have public transportation as the rakyat's choice of mobility by 2030," she told reporters on the sidelines of Veritas' Metropolis' Transportation-Oriented Development for Kuala Lumpur Lecture Series on Thursday.
