KLCI extends losses after Wall Street decline


Among key regional index:-

Nikkei 225 fell 1.03% to 16,204.94

Hong Kong Hang Seng Index fell 0.46% to 23,658.97

Shanghai Shenzhen CSI 300 Index fell 0.05% to 2,435.74

Taiwan Stock Exchange Weighted Index fell 0.51% to 8,965.65  

Korea Stock Exchange KOSPI Index 0.34% to 2,027.27

Straits Times Index STI fell 0.12% to 3,286.95

Crude palm oil  rose RM2 to RM2,199.

The ringgit weakened against the dollar at 3.2620 from 3.2543 the previous close.

Crude oil rose three cents to US$96.56 and Brent two cents to US$97.02.

Spot gold rose US$1.62 to US$1,223.21.
