‘It (GST) will be a good tax system for Malaysia’

THE impending Goods and Services Tax (GST) is timely, in view of the much anticipated Asean Economic Community (AEC) in 2015, said Thai Finance Ministry tax policy division senior expert on tax system development Sumalee Satitchaichareon.

“Malaysia chose the right time to go for it and I do believe that with the right system it will be a good tax system for the country,” she said at the GST seminar.
