IT is critical that Malaysia continues to monitor the impact of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on vulnerable groups and businesses after it comes into force.
Victoria University of Wellington associate professor of taxation Dr David White said Malaysia was putting in an enormous amount of resources into the design of the GST, including by drawing upon the experience of other countries which had implemented it.
