KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Automotive Institute (MAI) expects car prices to generally drop by between 1% and 3% after the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in 2015.
MAI chief executive officer Madani Sahari said an internal vehicle price reduction simulation was conducted by MAI to determine the impact of GST on car prices.
