MID-SIZED plantation company TDM Bhd has earmarked Indonesia to fuel its growth over the next few years. Chief executive officer Badrul Hisham Mahari says that despite the ongoing regulatory changes in the Indonesian economy, including in oil palm plantations, the company is committed to planting up to 5,000ha yearly on its estates there in the next four years.
TDM has a total landbank of 70,000ha, of which slightly more than half is in Kalimantan, Indonesia, with the rest in Terengganu.
