KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian blue chips got off to a weak start for September, continuing from August on profit taking of recent gainers and also because of the disappointing corporate results.
At 9.10am, the FBM KLCI was down 4.8 points to 1,861.31. Turnover was 307.27 million shares valued at RM114.64mil. There were 183 gainers, 134 losers and 184 counters unchanged.
