KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) is ramping up capital spending in the second half of this year after a slow start, as the telecommunications and Internet services provider upgrades its network and woos new customers.
The company made a net profit of RM214mil in the second quarter ended June 30, a small change from the previous corresponding period despite a 7.6% jump in revenue to RM2.82bil.
