KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Capital Bhd's earnings rose 35.6% to RM556.51mil in the second quarter ended June 30, 2014 from RM410.33mil a year ago mainly due to higher impairment writeback on other assets.
It said on Wednesday other factors were the lower impairment allowances for loans and financing, higher income from Islamic Banking business and higher net interest income.
