KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's blue chips ended Tuesday slightly lower in the absence of strong institutional players to take the lead despite some encouraging corporate results at the midday break.
At 5pm, the FBM KLCI was down 0.49 of a point or 0.03% to 1,861.82. Turnover was 3.29 billion shares valued at RM2.12bil. Gainers beat losers 435 to 382 while 320 counters were unchanged.
