KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI retreated during early trade on Thursday, weakening after the surge in volume and the unusual market activity query on Globaltec, as analysts expect profit taking to take place throughout the day.
At 9.23am, the KLCI was down 1.23 points to 1,877.77. Turnover was 525.69 million shares valued at RM1.9bil. There were 231 gainers, 150 decliners and 220 counters unchanged.
