IOI, KL Kepong, Genting weigh on KLCI


KUALA LUMPUR: Plantation counters and Genting dragged the FBM KLCI into the red at midday on Thursday, with IOI Corp and KL Kepong under pressure following the weak outlook for crude palm oil (CPO).

At 12.30pm, the KLCI fell 6.17 points to 1,872.72. Turnover was 1.6 billion shares valued at RM1.003bil. There were 332 gainers, 395 decliners and 324 counters unchanged.
