PETALING JAYA: Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has obtained approval and authorisation from the Securities Commission for the establishment of an additional tier-1 capital securities (AT1CS) programme of up to RM10bil and/or its foreign currency equivalent in nominal value (AT1CS programme).

The bank has also received approval from Bank Negara for the establishment of the AT1CS programme.
