Masterskill Education gains RM12mil from HK disposal


PETALING JAYA: Masterskill Education Group Bhd (MEGB) has disposed of its entire equity interest of 118 million shares in Hong Kong-based Gayety Holdings Ltd, a company that operates a chain of restaurants in that country, for RM33.24mil.

In an announcement yesterday, MEGB said it expected to realise an estimated gain of RM12.29mil based on the current exchange rate (HK$1 to RM0.409) from the disposal after netting off all commissions and fees.
