Seagate invests RM1.05bil in Batu Kawan


SEAGATE Technology Inc. plant in Penang.

GEORGE TOWN: Seagate Sdn Bhd will invest RM1.05bil to build a new plant at the Batu Kawan industrial park in Penang.

“Seagate will purchase 16.2ha with the option to purchase another 12.1ha at the industrial park,” Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng told a press conference in Komtar on Saturday.
