KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s blue chips rose more than six points in early Wednesday trade, underpinned by fund buying of Tenaga Nasional while KL Kepong and Petronas Gas climbed in thin trade.
At 9.30am, the FBM KLCI rose 6.13 points to 1,883.47. Turnover was 263.66 million shares valued at RM175mil. There were 228 gainers, 162 losers and 248 counters unchanged.
