ON Thursday Tenaga Nasional Bhd
(TNB) announced it signed a heads of agreement (HoA) with SIPP Energy Sdn Bhd, outlining the principal terms of the proposed joint venture between the two parties to build, own and operate a new 1,000 MW-1,400 MW combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
The agreement comes a day ahead of the Energy Commission’s (EC) deadline yesterday to respond to the conditional award.
