Berjaya Food hits limit-up as it ups Starbucks stake


KUALA LUMPUR: Berjaya Food Bhd's (BFood) shares hit limit-up on Thursday as investors were positive about its plan to buy the remaining 50% it does not own in Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company Sdn Bhd (BStarbucks) for RM279.5mil cash.

At 11.25am, BFood was up 54 sen to RM2.34 with 3.32 million shares done. Its warrants jumped 31 sen to RM1.37 with 3.20 million units trade.
