Mida aims for RM55bil investments in manufacturing


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) is confident of attracting at least RM55bil investments in the manufacturing and related service sectors this year compared with RM52bil last year.

International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said that for the first five months of this year the sector attracted RM41.7bil in investments, up 100% from a year earlier.
