KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI got off to a cautious start on Thursday as the 30-stock index wavered due to the lack of strong institutional buying to underpin sentiment while debutant Tanah Makmur was in focus.
At 9.30am, the KLCI was up 0.27 of a point to 1,886.98, after falling to a low of 1,885.76. Turnover was 318.89 million shares valued at RM184.38mil. There were 241 gainers, 148 losers and 263 counters unchanged.
