PETALING JAYA: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd’s net profit grew 12.44% in the first quarter ended April 30 on lower marketing and market research costs, staff-related costs as well as a decrease in tax expenses.
The pay-TV operator said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that its net profit for the period in review came in at RM128.33mil, compared with RM114.14mil in the corresponding period last year.
