Berjaya Sports Toto's net profit down on higher prize payout


PETALING JAYA: Berjaya Sports Toto Bhd’s (BToto) net profit dropped 8.29% to RM69.36mil on the back of a 45.96% increase in revenue to RM1.36bil for the fourth quarter to April 30, 2014, due to higher prize payout and operating expenses from its subsidiaries.

For the quarter, the company declared a tax exempt dividend of seven sen from four sen previously.
