KUALA LUMPUR: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd
's earnings rose 12.4% to RM128.33mil in the first quarter ended April 30, 2014 from RM114.13mil a year ago, boosted by higher EBITDA and lower tax expenses.
The pay-TV operator said on Wednesday there was an increase in EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) of RM60.30mil and decrease in tax expenses of RM4.7mil.
